Vivo has been in the Kenyan market for a couple of years now and its strategy to conquer this competitive market is rather simple; ensure that every market segment is adequately catered to.
In line with this, we have seen the Chinese smartphone vendor push out new devices aimed at appealing to various niches in the local smartphone market.
Luckily, the devices are awfully similar in specs as evident from the specsheet below.

|Battery Capacity||5,000mAh with 18W FlashCharge|

In the device’s release statement, vivo Smartphone Kenya Brand and Communications Manager, James Irungu had this to say about the Y20s:
vivo’s success in the global market can be attributed to its persistent efforts to understand and tap into specific consumer behaviors. In line with its ambitions to continue its growth trajectory, vivo works relentlessly to develop stylish and dynamic products that cater to diverse consumer segments around the world. This is a reason we have the Y20s in Kenya.Mr. James Irungu
