MTN Uganda Has Announced A 65% Price Cut For Its Daily Data Bundles

The new month of February has begun on a compelling note. MTN Uganda is revising its daily data bundles options and adding more MBs for the same existing prices. This move makes MTN’s daily data bundles one of the most affordable bundles in the country, giving customers more MBs at no extra cost. 

With effect today, when you load a daily bundle of shs1,000, you no longer get 100MBs, you get 165MBs. 

New MTN Uganda Daily Bundles Package

These are the new MTN Uganda daily data bundles.

In a press conference held today at the MTN Uganda headquarters in Kampala, Wim Vanhelleputte, the MTN Uganda Chief Executive commented that 

“The new MTN Mobile daily data bundles focus on the smaller, most frequently used data bundles by our customers. The repackaged daily data bundles have more MBs but maintain the existing price, giving customers more data for the same old price.”

How to Buy the New MTN Uganda Daily Bundles

There are two ways to buy these new repackaged daily bundles offered by MTN Uganda. You can use either the USSD option or via the MyMTN App.

Using a USSD Option:

Step 1: Dial *150*10#

Step 2: Choose from the menu option the amount of MBS you need from the option available.

Step 3: Finish the transaction by choosing to pay either through Airtime or Mobile Money.

Using MyMTN App:

Step 1: For those without the MyMTN App, download one from Google Playstore or App Store and log in with your MTN number.

Step 2: Choose the “Buy” menu from the bottom menu and select “Data”.

Step 3: Choose the “Data Bundles” option from the list and select the daily data option you are interested in.

Step 4: Complete the transaction by paying for the bundles using either the Airtime or Mobile Money option.
