itel brand is one of the best entry-level smartphones out there, offering the cheapest and most reliable phones money can buy. Their phones are objectively getting better every year, we keep getting bigger battery capacity, more processing power, more storage, and flagship-like features at the same price point.
We just received news about the upcoming itel P38 along with a press photo. Let’s digest and look at the new features, selling points and what headrooms the itel P38 offers when you are upgrading from the predecessor itel P37.
First off, What’s New With itel P38?
Outside of the increase in the model number to itel P38 and the new features such as all-new fast charging, bigger display, and color options, there are simply subtle changes this year.
Here are some of the most notable changes between last year’s itel P37 lineup and itel P38. Remember, this is not every change, just the most significant ones we can come up with at the moment;
Fast Charging: With a 15W fast charging, P38 is the first fast-charging phone from the itel brand. Coupled with the humungous 5000mAH battery, itel claims that 10 minutes of charging can give close to 3 hours of runtime. We will be able to debunk and try that out when we get our review unit.
Performance: In terms of performance, the P38 has been packed with newer and updated technologies. The AI Power Master can intelligently learn the user’s usage habits, and adjust the power consumption of the software from the background, so as to achieve the purpose of balanced power saving.
The newer itel OS 7.6 has a social turbo, XHide privacy vault, and anti-theft alerts feature out of the box.
In terms of software, Andriod 12 Go editions, will offer some notable changes and differences in overall performance.
The new chipset will offer a much-improved game performance and optimization compared to the predecessor.

itel P38 Prices and Availability in Uganda
itel P38 is available in all itel and Tecno branded shops countrywide. You can buy itel P38 today at an RRP of UGX 330,000 and the P38 Pro version will be launched a little later during the month.
