Chipper Cash, a leading fintech company serving over five million customers across Africa, is thrilled to announce its official launch in Rwanda. This expansion demonstrates Chipper Cash’s dedication to providing trusted and easily accessible financial services throughout the continent and beyond. The company celebrated its entry into the Rwandan market at the inaugural Inclusive Fintech Forum, a global platform focused on financial inclusion and fintech for the greater good. The forum took place at the Kigali Convention Centre.
Chipper Cash offers a user-friendly and innovative mobile application that allows Africans to send and receive funds across borders, make global payments with virtual cards, and invest in global stocks. With its launch in Rwanda, Chipper Cash aims to connect the Rwandan population by enabling seamless and secure transactions, promoting easy access to financial services, and driving economic growth.
Currently, the platform enables Rwandan users to transact in multiple currencies and facilitates hassle-free international remittances. Shortly, Chipper Cash plans to introduce additional products in the country. These include;
- Virtual Chipper Card, which will provide people with a convenient way to shop, stream, and subscribe online, and
- Chipper for Business, is a solution designed to support efficient operations for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the global marketplace.
