Apple Wonderlust Event Highlights: All the Devices Launched This Year

Apple held its annual September event today, September 12, 2023, under the name “Wonderlust”. The event was live-streamed from Apple Park in Cupertino, California, and was hosted by Apple CEO Tim Cook. The event began with how Apple devices have revolutionized the way people live, interact, and use the inbuilt health features and more.

iPhone 15 Series

The highlight of the event was the launch of the new iPhone 15 series with USB-C. The iPhone 15 lineup consists of four models: the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. All four models feature a new design with a smaller notch and a titanium frame. They are also powered by the new A16 Bionic chip, which Apple claims is up to 40% faster than the A15 Bionic chip in the iPhone 14 series.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro have a 6.1-inch display, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max has a 6.7-inch display. All four models have a triple-lens rear camera system, with a new 48-megapixel wide-angle lens. They also have a new Cinematic mode for video recording, which automatically changes the focus of the video as people or objects move around the frame.

Apple Watch Series 9

Apple also announced the new Apple Watch Series 9. The Apple Watch Series 9 features a new design with a flatter display and a more durable case. It is also powered by the new S9 SiP chip, which Apple claims is up to 20% faster than the S6 SiP in the Apple Watch Series 8.

It is believed to be Apple’s first carbon neutral product with! Apple Watch Series 9 starts at $399 (U.S.), and Apple Watch SE starts at $249 (U.S.).

Airpods Pro

Apple also announced a new version of the AirPods Pro. The new AirPods Pro have a new design with a shorter stem and a skin-detect sensor that can automatically pause playback when the earbuds are removed from the ears. They also have a new high-excursion driver that Apple claims provides better sound quality.

Apple Watch Ultra

In addition to the Apple Watch Series 9, Apple also announced the Apple Watch Ultra, a new high-end smartwatch that is designed for extreme sports and fitness enthusiasts. The Apple Watch Ultra features a titanium case, a sapphire display, and a new dustproof design. It also comes with a built-in compass and altimeter. The Apple Watch Ultra starts at $799.

Other Announcements

In addition to the new hardware, Apple also announced a number of new software features. These features include a new Live Text feature for the iPhone and iPad that can recognize text in images, and a new Translate app for the Apple Watch that can translate text in real-time.
