MTN Pulse Jumia Tuesdays: Exclusive Discounts for the Youths

With just a few days left to the end of this year’s Jumia Mobile Week, Jumia Uganda has joined a partnership with MTN Uganda to give MTN Pulse customers exclusive discounts on Tuesdays. Dubbed the MTN Pulse Jumia Tuesdays, Pulsers are granted a 15% discount every Tuesday on all the Jumia sites, including items that are already discounted.

Ideally, a customer is eligible to get 15% off items like fashion, electronics, appliances and more from Jumia, 15% off food from the restaurants on Jumia Food and 15% off hotels and group trips through Jumia Travel, as long as they are part of the MTN Pulse.

MTN Pulse is an MTN Uganda community built for the young Ugandans to give them the power to be themselves, unleash their full potential, and live life with #NoFear. Speaking during the signing of the MOU between the two brands, Jumia’s Marketing Manager Stacey Mwesezi said that this was an opportunity for Jumia to further connect with Uganda’s large youth population.

“We are a tech-based company and this partnership compliments our mission to create a connected digital Africa. We hope that MTN Pulse Jumia Tuesdays will make the Jumia services more financially accessible for Uganda’s youth.”

This is particularly in line with Jumia’s mission of connecting African consumers and entrepreneurs to do better business together
