Although Oraimo started out as an in-box accessory maker and supplier for some of Transsion’s smartphone brands including Infinix, iTel, and Tecno, it is, however, taking the accessories market on the continent by storm with various top quality accessories in its portfolio, ranging from Bluetooth speakers to power banks to earbuds. The Oraimo brand is now a full part of Transsion (The parent company for Tecno, iTel, and Infinix) – which explains its remarkable penetration in Africa.
Oraimo Launched the Freepods 2 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds a couple of months back in Nigeria and it quickly rose to become one of the most sought-after earbuds in the country – especially with the introduction of the “2Baba” version. But our focus here is the new Oraimo Freepods 2 Pro – Oraimo’s latest addition to its earbuds portfolio

Design
The Freepods 2 Pro comes in an entirely new design. If you like the design of the Apple Airpods Pro, you will like this new earbud from Oraimo. It looks a lot like the Apple Airpods Pro, but it comes with an Oraimo branding on the stem. It also comes in a white charging case that features a Type-C charging port. It also features ear tips, unlike the Freepods 2 released months ago.
Automatic Ear Detection
The Freepods 2 Pro features automatic ear detection. What this feature does is monitor the wearing status of the earbud and then play or pause your music or video based on that status. That’ll help you save battery life on your earbud. Oraimo says you get up to 4 hours of playtime on the Freepods 2 Pro and up to 3 full charges from the charging case.
Price and Availability in Nigeria
The Freepods 2 Pro earbud is currently available on the Oraimo Nigeria website and is selling for a discounted price of N11,500 as against the original price of N18,600. However, you can also get it from retail stores across the country, but expect it to be sold at a higher price.
