You can now order Chromebook Laptops in Uganda from Odukar Store

Odukar store, a Tech online retail outlet is listing Chromebooks for the very first time. Chromebooks are lightweight, portable, secure, internet-ready and affordable laptops designed for education. They run on Chrome OS, an operating system based on Linux and spearheaded by Google.

We have reviewed Chromebooks here specifically the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go and made some recommendations too. However, most of the products can only be shipped from Amazon and other U.S-based retailers who don’t ship directly to Uganda. Odukar store is taking away the hustle by offering the same products for Ugandans at affordable price points.

They laptops have an all-day battery, boot really fast and weigh the same as a loaf of bread making them easy to carry around. Don’t be deceived by the seemingly low-spec sheet on these laptops. Chrome OS is lightweight operating system designed to run low end hardware without sacrificing performance.

It features a slightly bigger 14 inch HD display, is powered by the N4500 Intel Celeron 1.8 GHz dual-core Processor which turbo Boost to 2.8 GHz and runs on 4GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage. This is ideal for users who want to do more technical tasks such as computer programming.
