Xiaomi just concluded its first event of the year with the unveiling of the Xiaomi 12 series. Xiaomi also used the event to introduce its new set of smartwatches, dubbed the Xiaomi Watch S1 and the Xiaomi Watch S1 Active. The new Watch S1 and S1 Active smartwatches will be succeeding the Mi Watch and the Mi Watch Lite smartwatches released over a year ago, and they come with some major upgrades.
While the Mi Watch combines the best of watch and fitness band features into one device, the new Xiaomi Watch S1 series is different. The Watch S1 Active is the sporty version – designed for your day-to-day activities, while the Watch S1 builds on the features of the Watch S1 Active and even takes it a step further.

Xiaomi Watch S1 Active
Just like the Mi Watch series which adopted a circular form design, the new Watch S1 Active is a circular form smartwatch with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display and a metal bezel around it. It also comes in three colors.
According to Xiaomi, the Watch S1 Active features multicolored strap options, over 200 watch faces, a massive 117 fitness modes for you to choose from (featuring as many sports as you can think of), 19 professional modes, and an all-day blood monitoring system. It is also water-resistant, with a 5 ATM rating.
Furthermore, you get around 12-day battery life to ensure that your smartwatch is always active. Finally, the Watch S1 Active will be available at a recommended retail price of $199.

Xiaomi says the Watch S1 is built on the advanced features of the Watch S1 Active, and it is currently Xiaomi’s most advanced smartwatch. Xiaomi also mentioned that it is a premium smartwatch designed to be worn during special occasions.
It comes in a similar design as the S1 Active – a circular form smartwatch with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display. Its features a sapphire crystal display that is scratch resistant. It comes with all of the features on the Watch S1 Active, and even more, including support for wireless charging and leather straps. The recommended retail price of the Xiaomi Watch S1 is $269.
