Kenya Power has also digitized its billing systems and customers can pay for their Power Tokens and settle their electricity bills via electronic payment, M-PESA for many Kenyans.
Today, thanks to a partnership between Kenya Power and Airtel Kenya, Airtel customers using the carrier’s mobile money platform, Airtel Money, can pay for their Power without incurring any transaction charges.

How to pay for Kenya Power Tokens (KPLC) with Airtel Money:
- Dial *334# on their mobile phones.
- Select Airtel PayBill from the options presented.
- Choose KPLC as the recipient of the payment.
- Proceed with the payment by following the prompts.
