The next generation iPhone, iPhone X is now available in Kenya through a 3rd party partner, Redington Kenya. In a lavish event held in Nairobi on 15th August, the bezel-less device that saw its global launch several weeks back was officially launched in the Kenyan market.
The iPhone X is Apple’s landmark 10-year anniversary device since the launch of the original iPhone. This iPhone is set to have the biggest impact on Apple’s smartphone direction, ever. Even iPhone itself is calling it the future of the iPhone. It embodies what the company has been trying to do for the past 10 years.
The iPhone X is a drastic change from what the iPhone has been over the years. It loses the signature circular home button, the very reliable Touch ID and introduces a whole new biometric authentication method in its place, FaceID. The device also now supports wireless charging, gets rid of the bezels and spots a much more high-resolution display.
