Just after releasing the OPPO A52, OPPO A31, and the OPPO A12, OPPO Mobile Nigeria has wasted no time in adding to that list as it just launched a new killer mid-range smartphone (the OPPO A92), its latest addition to the A-series.
This smartphone comes with some major updates to the RAM, internal memory, and design. Here is a quick summary of the device’s specifications.

From the pictures we saw during the online launch, a few things stood out for me; the cool color theme, the 3D quad curve design, and the punch-hole front camera. This device comes in two colors – Aurora Purple, Shining White, and Twilight Black, with both featuring a constellation color scheme.
The top-left corner of the display screen houses the 16MP punch-hole camera (with no flashlight). On the back, there’s a quad-camera setup that consists of a 48-mega-pixel main shooter, an 8-mega-pixel telephoto lens, a 2-mega-pixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-mega-pixel depth sensor.
The right side of the device houses the power button that doubles as the fingerprint sensor.
The OPPO A92 comes with a whopping 8-gigabyte RAM, and you also get 128-gigabyte internal storage. It runs on the latest version of the Android OS – Android 10 (Color OS 7.1).
Even though the Snapdragon 665 Octa-core CPU, clocked at 2.0 GHz, on the OPPO A92 is not the latest version, it is a tested and trusted mid-range chipset. It is backed by a huge 5000mAh battery and also supports 18W Fast Charge.
The flagship looking design of the OPPO A92 makes it a good value for money. And while it doesn’t boast of a flagship CPU, it’s massive RAM, impressive camera quality, and big battery makes it a decent option to consider.
