Kicking the Sense as the best new Fitbit Healthwatch is the Fitbot Sense 2. In fact, Fitbit mentions that it’s 10% thinner and 15% lighter than the Sense. This makes it a solid improvement. The major difference between these two is that the Sense 2 comes with a body response sensor that focuses on stress tracking. Its CEDA sensor helps you identify when you’re experiencing signs of stress so you can keep that in mind. We also love that it tracks the number of floors climbed when you’re on a staircase or on an incline.

This device in conjunction with all other features of the Sense shows the new Google integration as there’s a Google Maps and Google Wallet feature. So now you can pay directly for items using your Google Pay account. The only downside of this is that the stress monitor can increase the frequency of notifications you get. However, you should be able to modify this from the settings.

Asides from getting FDA approval for the electrocardiogram function, it comes with a stress tracker, blood oxygen measurements, and accompanying notifications. The ECG monitoring helps keep an eye on your heart rhythm which can be later shared with your doctor. Fitbit Sense also has a skin monitoring sensor for detecting changes in temperature due to fever or menstrual cycle.

You can monitor your sleep, stress levels, menstrual health, and breathing levels too. Receive calls and check-out notifications directly on your smartwatch. The only downside to this watch is that the battery life can only last for about 6 days. However, ultra-fast charging makes up for it. Also, this device doesn’t come with the function to store music on the device.

The number of sports modes has also shot up to 40 with inclusions like Dance and weightlifting now available.

This version will include the Google Pay and Google Maps integration. So you can choose to pay for items using the Fitbit or Google app on your smartwatch. The Versa 3 brings back the in-built GPS it skipped in the Versa 2 series. So with this watch, you can track your favorite workout or running routes. There’s also a Google Assistant integration so you can ask Google or Alexa to get the news, and weather, set reminders, and alarms, control your smart home, and more.

This model comes with improvements in the Active zone minutes, display resolution, and health tracking. Although the battery life is not as strong as the Inspire 2, this version launched the Fitbit fast charging to ensure you get a lot time with your device as possible. You can also directly answer calls as an Android user on this device and your notifications are sure to pop up on its higher resolution display.

Unfortunately, while you can store music on your Versa 2 device, this feature is not available on the Fitbit Versa 3. However, you can still make purchases from your wrist with Fitbit pay. This model also allows you to find out if snoring or other noises could be disrupting your sleep.

It also measures your glucose levels, sleep activity, menstrual health, heart rate, food, and water intake. If you love a lot of outdoor activity, this smartwatch is also water-resistant

One of the new features users loved in the Charge 5 was the advanced stress monitoring. The EDA scan measures your level of stress and alerts you when it’s time to put a pause on things. With a brighter always-on display, you can see your texts and notifications a lot more clearly.

This Fitbit model is also the first tracker to come with an in-built GPS to track your running routes. So you no longer need to upgrade to a smartwatch or use your phone to track routes. It also accounts for smaller wrists with its special bracelet edition variant. Asides from the physical design, another difference between this tracker is the always-on display. You also have access to the color touch-screen display.

You can monitor your sleep, stress levels, menstrual health, heart rate, breathing levels, blood oxygen and so much more. The only downside to this tracker is that the battery life can only last for about 5 days which is low, especially when compared to the Inspire 2 and Ace 3. However, if you don’t have to worry about running out of batteries for more than five days, then you don’t have much to worry about.

Being the best Fitbit for children, the Ace 3 is the latest version in the Fitbit Ace series. Released in March 2021, the Ace 3 is a slightly smaller version of its predecessor the Ace 2, and is best for kids ages 6 and above. Being water-resistant, it’s equally ideal for very adventurous children. The design is rugged yet safe as the band is made of flexible silicone with a plastic buckle. It has an 8-day battery life so you can track activities for a little over a week.

Unfortunately, you cannot track heart rates and other advanced health vitals. However, it’s an excellent option for tracking your sleep and daily steps.
