So, if you think you spend too much time on Netflix and its gradually becoming a habit, disabling Auto-Play could help keep you in check. This will prevent Netflix from automatically starting up the next episode when you’re streaming a TV series.
To disable it, go to your Account page, from ‘My Profile’ section, click on ‘Playback settings’ and toggle off ‘AutoPlay next episode in a series on all devices’.
You can also toggle off “AutoPlay previews while browsing on all devices”. This will stop trailers from playing when your cursor is on a movie or when you are navigating around your Netflix home page.

Netflix uses your viewing history to recommend new movies or shows to you. This information is also displayed as a section on the home screen as well.
So, if you share your account with other people (friends, family members) and you don’t want them to find out your guilty pleasures, you can delete your viewing history.
